Beautiful! Visually and ecologically. Like to think all those guys are talking to each other. I wonder if some hangers-on are better tolerated than others. Wait do limpets bore into mussels?
No they’re grazers right? But aren’t there some snails that hammer other shelled molluscs? I should know this
Whelks. How do mussles defend themselves against whelks. And do limpets do something good for mussels? Do mussels like algae growing on them or do they hate it?
