Let’s Check Out Another Surfperch

This little cutie is the redtail surfperch.  You can kind of see the reddish colored tail in this image. Redtail surfperch spend much of their time right in the surf zone.

In this part of the world, they are the biggest more or less permanent resident fish of the sandy beaches.
