On February 19, 2019, morning broke cold on the Oregon shore. Black ice on Parking Lot B at Fort Stevens State Park surprised me, and the trail up the foredune had a light dusting. Once beachside, I came across this inscription. From my perspective on the backshore, where winter waves carve away at the base of the foredune, I couldn’t argue.

Great photo. I know that area of Oregon well. Thanks so much for playing along 😀
Thanks, Cee. And thanks for a great challenge!
Love the ocean photo. Beautiful and ominous!
Congratulations! I featured your post on this week’s CBWC challenge,

Thanks! So grateful for it, Cee. I’m glad I threw my hat in the ring and I’m looking forward to participating more in CBWC!
