Amid the pulse of waves, swells, and tides, moments spent peering through still water are few. Each second is precious. The wondrous life we scrutinize in the crystal depths is bound to vanish under the turbulence of an overflowing swell.
The tide is on the make. These anemones and the rocky tub that shelters them during drier times are soon to disappear in the foaming flood.
Wow, great catch. Seeing these anemones must have made your day.
Thank you. I always love the look of anemones. That pool was so still, for a few seconds.
VERY cool!!
Neat colours! š
That’s a very cool shot.
Thanks for taking the time to mention it. I’ll confess, it took me a while to warm up to it. The sea was pretty active at the time; I like that aspect.
A beautiful picture…
Thank you. I loved that little starfish you posted!
Lovely colors, movement and angle. You are an inspiration! Been walking the wrack line at Long Beach, WA picking up human trash — my little effort to save the ocean!
Thanks. The sea was active so it was a happy accident.
What an amazing view! I can almost hear the ocean’s roar and hiss and smell the salt air. š
Great description of what it was like. One interesting note, I’ve been to that spot many times and never seen that lineup of large anemones. Thanks Cristina!
Extraordinary shots of those anemones.
